A detoxification diet is not only used for weight loss, in fact it’s a very basic and useful way to remove harmful toxins from your organism, strengthen your immune system and stimulate the metabolic rate.
This is it, as in addition to a proper detoxification diet, you will be able to burn excess body fat.
However, this is not so important in a similar diet.
Any nutrition imposing prohibitions or a weight loss diet does not necessarily mean that promotes the removal of dangerous toxins from the body.

It’s clear that we are referring to the artificial process of removing toxins from organism and not just the biological organic function of organism (not sufficient on its own).
